To be listed on PriceSpy is free. Our ambition is to list all possible webshops with product ranges that fall within our categories and then being able to offer our users a total and transparent experience.

For shops that wants to use PriceSpy more we offer the Featured Store option as an extra sales- and market exposure channel.

The requirements for becoming listed

Before your shop or marketplace is added to PriceSpy, it must be approved. All shops and marketplaces that meet our shop requirements can display their products and prices on PriceSpy. Here are the requirements that apply today:

General requirements

Applies to all shops and marketplaces

To be listed, each shop or marketplace must:

  • be operated by a verifiable business,

  • comply with current legislation related to the marketing and sale of listed products and services,

  • follow the information requirements linked to consumer law rules and present these in a clear and comprehensible way in English,

  • provide the option to display all prices in local currency, including VAT/GST

  • ensure that the consumer does not become responsible for costs linked to the import of goods.

In addition to the above requirements, PriceSpy carries out as far as possible the checks and assessments we deem necessary.

Special requirements (UK)

Applies to shops outside the UK, as well as marketplaces with sellers outside the UK

For shops and marketplaces, where the customer (directly or via a branch) enters into an agreement with a company outside the UK, the following information must be available on the website:

  • Company information for the foreign legal entity that is the consumer's contracting party.

  • Conditions, which guarantee in writing that the consumer will not be liable for costs connected to the import of goods.

  • Information about the customer's right to cancel a purchase with conditions that at least correspond to the legislation in the UK.

Special requirements (New Zealand)

Applies to shops outside the New Zealand, as well as marketplaces with sellers outside New Zealand

For shops and marketplaces, where the customer (directly or via a branch) enters into an agreement with a company outside the New Zealand, the following information must be available on the website:

  • Company information for the foreign legal entity that is the consumer's contracting party.

  • Conditions, which guarantee in writing that the consumer will not be liable for costs connected to the import of goods.

  • Information about the customer's right to cancel a purchase with conditions that at least correspond to the legislation in the New Zealand.

Add your shop

Once your shop or marketplace meets the requirements, fill out our registration form to add it. Don't forget to include a link to the product feed.
